First to be clear, I am NOT a scrapper. This program is suited to this requirement: it is as well as the creation in the “real world” as possible. That means if I wanted to cut something, I’m not messing with a bunch of arcane tools and survey levels and masks and all that (bitter trying to learn Gimp and Photoshop!), But I just clicked on a pair of scissors, and dragged off! Serif Digital Scrapbook Artist is doing just that.
The great success of this program is its ease of use for the beginner and the depth to advanced tools of the artist. There is a wide variety of filters, which cut a studio did a great job (as clear from the context, the better), excellent series of brushes included (and not difficult to make your own!), And much more. I read all the help and really dug deep in the program and will be busy for a while! (By the way, the program levels and masks, but you do not need to mess with them first to get a nice current page.)
Program DaisyTrail to download, a community of scrapbooking. It is very easy to download and see what others are doing. A good community, but it needs to work a few folds and offer greater ease of use.
If you have downloaded a large number of scrapbooking content, you can always use that in program. You can import the PNG and JPG images in the content management system (must be done each time you start the IDE), but in a * a * easiest is to simply DSA window panes and folder on your side , content to coast, then just drag and drop whatever, say a flower beautifying png, right in the DSA. Maximize the window again and DSA continue to work on!
Have to give congratulations to executives. You drag a picture frame (including some really nice for everyone) on the page, then drag your photo onto the frame and instantly inserted into the frame. You can always move the camera position about anything you want. If sold separately Serif frames, I doubt buying
Disadvantages:
The program is at the fifty or so I bought it directly from Serif (not available on Amazon for the moment – the first was released in the United Kingdom) expensive! Even now, with the surrender of bringing down the price a little, I always think it is too expensive.
Digikits: These are packs of ten kits with different themes including embellishments , paper, frames, colors, etc., but at forty *! * dollars a pop, they are certainly not worth it. You can not choose what you install from this package. In fact, you can not even see everything that is included until you buy. So if you do not want the sport package on the theme on your hard drive, you’re out of luck. They would be much wiser to break each pack in separate kits that can be purchased for $ 2-3 each and offer a way to buy ornaments, frames and paper. 25 -. 50 each, so you can choose exactly what you want.
Other niggling little problems:
. There is no way to disable something arise when you open the program. You can disable the Startup Wizard, but then Content Manager appears.
. The program hangs a lot! I set the automatic backup to two minutes in my settings to save for losing the job. And I have a computer six weeks old brand new with 4 GB of RAM. So no reason why it should crash.
. Not enough customization! No way to add buttons to your toolbar (why no print button, iron heaven’s sake?)
. No way to minimize to tray.
. No way to use Photoshop brushes, so that all these brushes collected over the years are not good here.
. Unable to choose colors in hexadecimal! A more common! * Scratches head *

Overall, an excellent program that needs a few more features to make it truly worthy of five stars. But if you’re looking for something that is easy, but not insulting you and then gives a very pretty and nice content with the program to give this a go.
Finally do not let the box art is domination pink Silly. It is a bad design decision, like putting a good Subaru engine in a convertible plastic Malibu Barbie!

I’m new to digital scrapbooking and recently purchased this product. It was fairly easy to use, but takes a little practice to get used to it. There is a free update that is provided on the website route Daisy (in the user guide) that allows a little more. My only negative point is that the user guide is also grounds it could be. After referencing how to use a tool, I still had trouble. That being said, I wrote a customer support and the day I always had a detailed answer to my question. Now I use it much, it becomes easier and easier. I found many websites that have free downloads for kits, pages, etc. I spent very little money and have 35 pages (a whole family album for 2008) in less than a month. I recommend this product.

I am a passionate scrapbooker and business woman who is experiencing things that I love. I do scrapbooking, card making, posters, and signs for businesses. All the girls on my sites Yahoo have been delighted this new software and I had to have. YES, it’s the best thing since sliced bread! I did all my Christmas cards and gifts to many using this software.
If you have any kind of paper crafts with all you need this software.

I really can not say enough good things about this book – it is so worth the money. The developers are Serif upgrades all the time, so many questions of previous exams are now supported. I’ve never done any paper scrapping and have little familiarity with Photoshop or InDesign, but learning DSA was a breeze. The program has a wide range of capabilities, designers can address the more advanced things to heart joy and beginners will be able to get up and in no time. There are also video tutorials on the site DaisyTrail to help you learn more advanced stuff as you grow, and the community of scrappers there is just wonderfully favorable.
DSA comes with a number of kits. You can also use the software to work with the kits for free download or purchase on different sites on the web. And from what I understand, a new free update in August will make this task even easier. Pages can be exported as JPEG or PDF files and can be customized to any size you want – perfect for making greeting cards or 4×6 brag book pages.
The only drawback is that it often collapse. There is an automatic backup, but I still save my work frequently. Even so, it’s hard to imagine being happier with another product.

I’m new to digital scrapbooking and found that this product is easy to use with fantastic results! It allows you to convert. SBP pages to PDF files as if you can easily download and print them professionally. I’m addicted! An excellent product!
