hello, I love scrap booking, but materials are TOO EXPENSIVE in my country
a cardboard of that sise is almost 2 dollars, and the papers are like a dollar.
I don’t know the name of the thing you use at 4:10 but, in here it costs at least 30 dollars, is it that expensive there?

Love the layout. I like how you just grab the papers you like and make them all work. I stress over my layouts so much I wish I could be less stressed and enjoy my hobby as much as you do. Thanks for the inspiration.

@saintben2008 Cutting on a glass mat instead of a self-healing mat dulls the edge of the blade slightly faster. It also provides a much cleaner cut and exact when cutting with paper while requiring less effort. Since I only use cheap disposable blades when crafting, it is worth it to me to change them a less more for the accuracy and ease of use a glass mat provides.

  27. saintben2008

i don’t know if people know this, but when you cut on that plexiglass mat, you totally ruin your blade. you should always use a dedicated cutting mat. by that i mean the soft white or thin green or gray mats.

I love this layout, I really don’t mind all the “fussing” needed to do it. thanks for sharing.

@sponge1abc The polka dots are an acrylic stamp from Hot Off the Press. I stamped them in Versamark Watermark Ink & then sprinkled them with white embossing powder and heat set it. Thanks for watching!

  32. sponge1abc

in the very begging, how did u make the paper. and by that i mean how did u get those tiny dots on there and what kind of glitter, powder, or what ever that stuff was did u use?

  33. Karle1910

loved ur background dots and ur cutout circles. KCB xoxo

The adhesive applicator I use is the 3M Scotch ATG 700 and I got it online from a store called “Framing Supplies”. YouTube doesn’t allow links in the comment area, but if you google “framing supplies” it should come right up. The adhesive I use in it is the Scotch 908 Gold {acid free} and I buy it in the 1/2″ width and 60 yard length.

  36. Tyl123b

Where did you get your adhesive “gun”?

  37. 1cookie4me

    Great Job!

  38. amethysteyed

love how you placed the lettering. i never thought of folding my glue dots! i always cut them in half to make them smaller and end up making a mess! good tip.

  39. desdichaedo

Thanks for watching ~ I’m so glad you enjoyed it!

  40. desdichaedo

Sorry it took so long to get back to you! I didn’t really have a plan for this title ~ I just pushed the letters around and turned them around until they looked right. Maybe if you did one letter on the first line, two letters on the second line and three letters on the third line, that would work? So sorry I missed this comment before!

  41. TheCandyPower

So nice,! Love it, thank you,!

  42. desdichaedo

Thanks for leaving me a comment ~ I’m glad you got some good inspiration from it! Please feel free to use these techniques in your personal scrapping!
