Great Techniques for your Scrapbooking Layouts

If you enjoy scrapbooking as much provisions as I do, so you're always looking for new ideas and techniques to try on your next scrapbook! There's nothing more exciting than discovering a new idea that adds creativity to your scrapbook available! So I decided to develop this article about some really cool stuff I learned new scrapbooking!

The first technique I want to address is how to make pockets in your scrapbooking layouts. Now, there are many different ways this could be done and many different pieces of hardware that you could make a pouch. . . In this article, I will just do it in two ways pockets for your scrapbooking layouts can be achieved.

One way to add a pocket for your scrapbook layout is to use a piece of poster board (or any kind of paper, with about the same thickness, postcards work great for layouts scrapbooking travel database.) You must cut the posterboard in the size and shape you "I wish he was first and foremost. If you want to cut a small drawing in the seam of pocket, now is the time to do so.

After your pocket posterboard has good size and shape, it is time to add it to your scrapbook layout! To do this, I found that taking the foam mounting squares and cut into strips works best. In this way, the pockets seem to remain locked and can not be detached from the bottom.

Another thing you might like to try this technique uses two different colors of posterboard. Cut both in the same form (or forms different if the creative touch you want to add to your scrapbook available), then cut a design in the middle of one of the pieces of poster board (like a flower for example.)

When it is time to add your pocket, put the piece of poster board that has not first cut design and fix it to the room with the design cut into it on top of it. In this way, the color of your posterboard below shows where you cut your design on the top and there you have a little pocket Creative!

Another material you can use to make covers for your scrapbooking layouts is fabric. There are lots of fun colors and patterns when it comes to fabric, I think it's just wonderful! To start making your cloth bag, first select your fabric and cut to size.

To secure your pocket fabric, I suggest you use a hot glue gun instead of foam mounting squares. Make sure you are very careful with the hot glue gun and you press firmly enough on the fabric before the adhesive is too long to cool. If you let the glue too long to start to harden before you are able to support his position, it will not stick right.

Another cool bit Be creative, you can put on this point is to turn your handheld into a bag while standing on a button! This requires only a little extra, very simple measures.

Now, first of all I must say that it's much easier to put your bag and pocket if you have not already secured your pocket at your disposal. (Even if it is not desperate to make your existing pocket in a pocket either!)

In this article, we will do to save a step on our cloth bags just before we are ready to attach the pocket scrapbooking at our disposal. Just to clarify, this means that you must have your pocket fabric already cut into the shape you want it to be in.

For the next step, make sure to cut another piece of fabric that is the same width as your pocket and a little more than half of its height. Then turn the fabric pocket down and take the other piece you just cut and place one end thereof below the top of your bag (just enough to allow sufficient material to attach to the back background.) Then, fold the edges over the upper half of the material that you just cut and fold the material in the pocket to measure everything and make sure it matches the way you want.

If measures just right, the next thing we'll do is add a button to your pocket. (Keep in mind, we have not glued or mounted anything yet!) With your pocket bag still held up, place a button flap pocket that you cross on the pocket to see how it will look. When you put it right, lift the flap and place the button on the pocket, then put the flap on the back of it and cut a slot for your button in the fold and stitch button on the pocket.

In addition, a tip, it may be easier to identify folded in the corners of your flap in place while you cut your lapel.

All you have to do now is to stick together! For that, I would like to start gluing the bottom half of the pocket first, then, before bonding the upper half, measure everything again, put your flap pocket where it belongs and paste it in place and click Finish gluing the upper half of your pocket pocket. And finally, you're ready for the last step!

Until now, your pocket and your pocket flap must be glued in place and you should have your lapel and flap cut into the button sewn to the pocket. Now you must set the flaps to remain in their folded position. If you have pinned your flap up, it is time to remove your pins and glue it in place with hot glue gun. Again, please remember to be careful with the hot glue gun, but make sure you press firmly on the fabric together before the glue cools too.

The final result will give your scrapbook layouts creative fabric bags that you can button and unbutton! These are really great for keeping little memories!
